Best Route from Bucal Calamba to SLEX: Use the Newly Constructed Milagrosa-Bucal Bypass Road

I was so surprised yesterday when I saw a new road entrance along Bucal, Calamba on my way home to Bay, Laguna.  I was on an HM Transport operated bus (Calamba Megatrans) and as I looked out to my right, lo and behold was a bypass road made available for Manila- and Sto. Tomas-bound vehicles.
An access road positioned to curb traffic congestion in Crossing Calamba, the road is available to private vehicles only. Driving through this road exits you near Nation, a gasoline station along Pan-Philippine Highway aka Maharlika Highway.
I checked my Waze and according to Samantha, the trip will only be about 12 minutes from that road entrance to its exit cutting travel time by as much as 30 minutes during peak hours.
Though this will improve exit time for SLEX and Sto. Tomas-bound vehicles, this will further aggravate the congestion for South-bound vehicles coming from Crossing Calamba going to Pansol, Los Banos, Bay, Sta. Cruz and San Pablo City. Aside from the congestion point due to vehicles turning left to resorts along Pansol, this new access road creates another intersection to contend with for South-bound vehicles. Those of course wishing to reach the Pan-Philippine Highway will have to take turns with South-bound vehicles on that intersection.

Scheduled Use of the Milagrosa-Bucal Bypass Road

The traffic management office assigned in the area should carefully observe the effectiveness of this new road. You will see that there is no flyover constructed to avoid any congestion brought about by the creation of another intersecting traffic. While this new initiative solves a particular traffic congestion problem, I have a feeling that there should be a specific time of day this road is opened. Careful study of traffic flow 24/7 for a week or two will help bring out the most of this new development, and both South- and North-bound motorists will surely appreciate.
